CH’Inetische Rezeptoren
Dietgard Grimmer
The energy of life, omnipresent, not visible. The Chinese call it Ch’i. John Pierrakos envisions it as a funnel-shaped, pulsating maelstrom. Julie Hayward gives form to the assimilation of this energy. Arising from this are ceramic sensors, the funnel-shaped feelers of strange archaic animals that transfer and transform this vital energy. The CH’Inetic receptors reveal various aspects of this energy process as Wilhelm Reich notes – a process that takes place in four stages: tension, assimilation, release, relaxation. Hayward’s satellites function and act in these states, with antennae that are reminiscent of tentacles. (Simone Christl)
The "CH’Inetic Rezeptors" are, as can be gleaned from the title, a sort of energy receptor or converter. They can also be seen as energetic centering devices or filters. Julie Hayward first created these "funnel pieces" intuitively. While working on them she then studied literature on the phenomenon of life energy – a vital energy that is omnipresent, non-visible. The Chinese call it Ch’i.
